3... t... 5... 0...the name bounces around in your head,
but you don't seem to recall who it is...maybe you never got to know them...yet,
their sound seems to live on...evolved... reborn...some times, in a chaotic form...
other times, as a river of tears...
it punctuates a feeling...let us explore.

it looks like something has changed...a new inkstream piece has revealed itself...
maybe... you don't want to see the collections?
then... maybe you'll like these instead...

a series of ink-art-inspired digital posters...
they are infused with the auras of internet personalities...
the collection seems to be incomplete... the images are rare, too.as you reach out to the posters, they seem to react...
they open portals to sections of the digital layer...maybe they will lead you to the next missing piece...

8x
sounds from the city in the stars.
some of the earliest tunes i've ever made.
each track is a look into the life of another person.
some are just walking through town, enjoying their day.
others are hacking into the minds of unsuspecting victims.back in 2014, i didn't really know much about making music,
so you'll probably notice some stock fl studio sounds and plugins,
3xOsc, harmless, FL Keys, the basic drumkit...
i think it hardly resembles its own inspirations... skrillex? monstercat?it's crude,
it's repetitive,
but... it's also memorable.it reminds me of a very specific time in life.
a time when perfection wasn't the endgoal,
when hitting a sour note and mismatched volume sliders or compression
didn't matter. it was just about making music that sounded good.you're listening to a kid mashing keys... and,
if you're just getting started on your music journey,
you'll probably sound like this too.don't let that stop you.
not even for a second.
keep going.this album continues to inspire me because it
lets me see how far i've come since.so i'll keep making music.
and you should too.

WAVE RIDER OST
the simulation is trying to kill you.
my latest album, a compilation of music made for the
wave rider videogame. including the unused tracks.i've been wondering what i should write for this section,
but if you listen on bandcamp, each track has notes on its creation,
plus some extra anecdotes about the game's development.so i guess i should tell you about this instead...
you can call it exclusive content if you want, wave rider is named after a song,
architecture in tokyo's wave rider,
which samples toshiki kadomatsu's sea line.one of the first results that shows up when you look up
"toshiki kadomatsu sea line" on youtube is a music video
starring a red car riding on a highway that stretches over the sea.if you're familiar with the game's hydroway, you should be
connecting the dots by now.i wanted to make a game that felt like those songs.
a sort of "autobiographic musical experience."
hence the constant 8x references in the soundtrack.throw in some need for speed underground 2, some radiohead,
outrun, ocular nebula, synthwave... it turned into its own sound.i think you'll love it. i learnt so much making this game and its music.
i played through its levels in pure silence and "imagined" what they sounded like, and this... this is the result.enjoy.

Sentient Data
raging synth tunes to clean the system to
how do you begin to make music for a game
where you play as an antivirus running about
in a computer shooting at angry cubes
that want to delete your personal files?throw some blank banshee, metallica, windows xp
system sounds and maybe a mac os sound or two
into a blender, then put it at whatever speed
makes it sound like mick gordon.this album is dark sounding. at times it's more empty-like.
during some tracks, it's almost meditative.
it sounds angry, but not master of puppets angry,
more like clippy is giving you the side eye.it's detuned 1millisecond micro-samples,
recycling bin sounds used as drumkits,
echoy synths and staccato patterns,
pitched down startup sounds...it has everything you can find in an
abandoned 2005 home computer.give it a try!
see if you recognize any sounds.

LOOK FOR THE TRAIN
People keep asking me about a "ref sheet" because they wanna draw me some fanart. "Tir where's your ref sheet, give me your ref sheet!" I don't understand what you're looking for; I'm not like a cartoon character... I can show you some pics though, I would absolutely love to see what you will draw though! This is what I've come to call "The Secret Sauce". It's what makes the pasta good, you know? Like the art? Well- no, what really makes the art good is the love you're putting into it-- but-- this is the ingredients-- anyway, just. Here, I recently did an interview for the Intour magazine, and I think those are the best pictures anyone has ever taken of me and my paper buddy. Check this scan out!

Need even more?
Well... I can show you some amazing self-portraits, pics, and awesome illustrations some talented artists from the Dream Layer have made for me. How's that?
